Three of us started this humble site back in mid 2002, with our original ideas and aim being purely to just showcase our personal mountain biking photos and local XC trail guides. Over time and with the interest from local riders and local shops we started to develop the site, into what we wanted to be the ultimate Buckinghamshire MTB club and info website - we still fight to keep this!

Our XC influence was soon broken, but not forgotten, when we dispersed into the fast world of Downhill Mountain Biking, both in racing and photography. Since then, over the five years or so that we've been open, we have developed the site with galleries, tech tips, a dedicated junior development race team, a very busy forum, reviews, interviews, bike shop listings, links and much more, and Scott still amazes with his regular gallery entries.

We also try to follow as many race events, especially local events, and where and when we can race and spread the bucksmtb name. Our race teams of the past several seasons have made us very proud with all riders getting superb results and getting us National recognition.

To this day we still try to meet our original aim, to showcase and build an ultimate index for mountain biking in Buckinghamshire, for all MTB disciplines (DH, XC, 4X etc), and we regularly update the site with new articles, local race news, new galleries and things for you to get involved with - and when were not doing that, were just improving our content we have currently.

We are however always on the look out for help with the website. If you would like to have your photos or trail guides, tech tips or reviews shown on this busy site, then please do send them in, like so many people already have. Just email content to us.

Group rides are up and coming and are still top of the agenda. The paperwork to organise them and hold them is ridiculous, but sign up for our regular email updates newsletter via the home page to be kept up to date with our plans. Do please sign up on our forum though, to take part in some of the 'unofficial' forum rider get togethers which have become a regular occurrence for both DH and XC riders

Please check out some of our supporting partner websites and race team sponsors sites, and please check back soon for more updated articles and news...

Happy Riding
