NSPCC Off Road Charity Ride 2009
Event
Sunday 12th July 2009July 2009 will
see a new locally held charity
ride event being organized by the NSPCC.
The event is all
off-road so will be far more interesting than the normal road bound
Charity fundraisers.
The ride is to be based on and around the Chilterns starting and
ending in Princes Risborough. Heading off from the grounds of Princes
Risborough School you can choose your challenge from one of three
fantastic routes (25km, 50km, 75km) through The Chilterns. There will
also be music, food, drink and plenty of support for you and your bike
so it's set to be a great day.
The Routes:
25km Princes Loop
A great challenge for those who need to get back on their bike, this
mixed terrain route goes along the renowned Ridgeway trail and some
pretty country lanes.
50km Ridgeway Route
This route follows the Ridgeway trail west through ancient landscapes
before returning on country lanes with some great off-road sections.
75km Chilterns Trail
This route follows the Ridgeway trail west through ancient landscapes
before returning on country lanes with some great off-road sections.
By raising sponsorship for taking part you will be supporting the
NSPCC's Childs Voice Appeal to ensure that no child's cry for help
goes unheard. Sadly a third of children calling ChildLine can't get
through to talk to someone; by raising £250 you can help the NSPCC
transform ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline so that whether they call,
email, text or contact the NSPCC online, the NSPCC be there.

This sounds a very promising event, and as always its for a very good
cause, so we hope to see you there
Kind Regards
