Tour de Vale Bike Ride 2009 [Event
Preview] 7th June 2009 This years Tour de Vale ride will take place on the 7th June 2009, although its not a Mountain Bike Event it is always a good well organized cycling event and all proceeds go to a very good cause. If you have that day free, or want to take the family or friends out riding with you, this is a great event to do. The Cycling event is organized to raise money for the local Charity WheelPower that transform the lives of many disabled people through sport [WheelPower Charity No. 265498] The event offers road riding through the Buckinghamshire Country side with 15, 30 and 55 mile routes to be choosen from. The 15mile route is ideal for families, the 30mile route perfect for leisure cyclists and the 55 mile route is more of a challenge route with a total climb of 717 metres. Starting and finishing point for the event as always is at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium (Guttman Sports Centre) Why not enter with your friends, colleagues and enter a team? There will be on the spot prizes for the best fancy dress on the day. If you enter on the day it will cost you £20. You can also make further donations as well if you get sponsored and raise money for the ride, which hopefully you will do!
