Prizes!

Start times
 
  • Start 1: 7.30pm Elite&Expert men; Master men; Sport men, Juniors
  • Start 2: 7.31pm Veterans including Grand Vets and Female Racing
  • Start 3: 7.32pm Under 16s, Unders 14s, Under 12s (minimum age 10 years old)
  • Start 4: 7.40pm'ish: Fun men, Fun Female
  • So, there is a delay of about one minute between starts 1 to 3, then we wait for the leader to come around to the back of the start/finish area (about 2 minutes from the end of then lap) before starting the Fun categories to spread everyone out.
  • We strongly advise fitting lights as it is likely to be getting dark on the last lap!
General Info 
  • Scores from all 5 rounds count towards your total
  • Prizes will be given out at the final round on 28th July
  • You must wear a hard shell helmet, have fully working brakes and plugged bar ends.
  • A para-medic ambulance will attend but cannot leave the site until racing has finished. In the case of a serious injury a regular ambulance will be called to take the injured person to hospital
  • We are aiming to keep the course the same for all five rounds
  • All races are run to time with the overall leader receiving the last lap bell first followed by all other riders. A chequered flag signals the end of the race. The last racer normally crosses the line around 8.45pm.Results are posted on the Racing page of www.summitmtb.co.uk the following day
  • Please be aware there are no toilet or changing facilities at Lotts Wood.
Practice night
 
  • Weds, 5th May from 6.45 until 9pm, just turn up and ride some laps. Car Park will be open and the course marked out.
