Summit 2011 Evening XC Series, Lotts Wood :: Event Preview

Summit MTB are once again running their popular evening race series which runs between May and July on their purpose built MTB course at Lotts Wood, Hyde Heath, Nr Amersham.

Race Calendar (all Wednesdays) : 11th May; 25th May; 8th June; 22nd June; 20th July

There are seven senior categories to choose from: Elite & Expert, Vets, Masters, Female Racing, Sport & Junior plus Fun Men and Female Fun. In addition there are categories for youth riders aged 10+ to 16 years.

Racing begins at 19h30 sharp. The adult categories all race to time. The format is 40 minutes racing followed by a final bell lap for all categories except for the Fun categories where riders will race for approximately 30 minutes plus a lap. The youth categories will race over distance: U12 (2 laps), U14 and U16 (3 laps).

From 18h30 on race night you will be able to sign on to receive your race number and practice on the course prior to the race starting.

Entry is £12 for adult categories and £7 for youth categories. Please note that there will only be limited capacity to enter on the night and it will cost you £20 for a adult entry and £10 for a youth entry so please enter in advance. Entries will remain open until midday on the Tuesday prior to the race night.
