The Welsh XC MTB Race Series 2011 Event Series Preview Dates and Venues: Round 1: Date: February 13th 2011 Location: Cwrt Y Celyn Farm, Pontypridd. CF37 5BJ. Course: Fast grass sections combined with a technical descent, a rooty cambered section through trees and a leg-burning switchback climb. Round 2: Date: March 5th 2011 Location: Cefn Dyrys, near Builth Wells. LD2 3RD. Course details: Doubletrack paths combined with fast flowing natural singletrack through trees and a combination of short, steep climbs and long drags. Round 3: Date: April 3rd 2011 Location: Coed Y Brenin (Old Visitor Centre), Maesgwm, LL40 2HY. Course details: Plenty of climbing and descending. Mixture of Rocky man-made and natural rooty wooded singletrack and maybe even a pump track thrown in for a bit of fun! Round 4: Date: May 15th 2011 Location: Fforest Fields Campsite, Builth Wells, LD1 5RT. Course details: Big open climb, steep descents, rooty cambered sections and plenty of singletrack-what more could you want!?
