Christmas Group Ride Report 06/12/2009

Our Christmas 2009 Group Ride was held on 6th December catering for the Cross Country riders amongst you.

The Group Ride started at Wendover Woods Cafe and took in 22miles of local trails in and around Wendover Woods, Coblers Hill, Dunsmore and Coombe Hill before returning back to Wendover Woods for coffee and cake.

Aylesbury Vale awoke to torrential rain on Sunday morning, it had been raining non stop all night - the trails were wet. Understatment

This however didn't stop ten of you brave local riders heading off round the local trails with us to celebrate our Christmas XC Group Ride.

Despite 2 punctures, a brake pad change and the repair of a burst chain the BMTB xmas ride appeared to be an enjoyable yet soggy ride for one and all

A big thanks go out to all of you local riders for attending. A big thanks also to the BMTB Team Riders who led the ride. One more big shout of thanks goes to the Cafe in the Woods for serving so much coffee and cake, and for clearing up the mud after us....!
