Sram X.O Gearing

Still unconvinced about Sram? Still stuck in your ways over Shimano? I don't blame you, but after riding with the Sram system I would never go back...

There is obviously a MASSIVE difference from riding with my old Shimano Deore gears. For one thing the shifting is so smooth and effortless as it only takes about 2 clicks to move through the whole 9 gears.

Before, when doing downhill runs, you could hear the Shimano mechs slapping against the chainstays as I'm sure many of you live with every time you ride. Now with the X.0 there is none of that.
I didn’t even have to adjust the limit or stoppie screws, it just runs perfect from the box.

The only down side to the X.0 kit is when it comes to set up. The shifter has no indication of what gear you are in its hard to judge which gear is which, but when you manage to figure it out, the rest of the setup is fairly quick once the gear cable is threaded through. But other than that its all straight forward to get going, and much easier and hassle free than Shimano kit.

Having tested the X.0 at hamsterley I came to the decision that it was excellent. There are no faults or flaws when going over rocks or jumping. Things like gear jumping & skipping is a thing of the past. At the end of the day I suppose you get what you pay for.

Another small but nice subtle touch is the neat little box that the X.0 comes in. This comes in useful when transporting your bike, it protects the mech itself and the dropout.
