Shimano Deore XT Rear Mech

The Deore XT rear mech has been totally redesigned for 2007 including a whole new shape - the most prominent change being the overall shape of the lower chain guide.

The rear mech also features new looks around, a revised operating mechanism and a new render finish.

The XT RD-M760-SGS series is still in the traditional black/silver colour scheme whereas the RD-M761-GS series is the new silver only colour scheme including the embossed XT logo.

On a more technical note the newer wider refined pivot link design boosts superb strength and rigidity which means flex is suppressed, creating sharp, precise shifts that are faster and smoother than before, even from low to high gears when riding out of the saddle.

A super sweet running mech, still setting the benchmark for high end mtb components. Just check out how many mid and high range bikes will come with XT as standard for 2007 and you'll see how popular it is....
