Easton EC70 Carbon MTB Seatpost

I have been using this carbon EC70 seatpost for just over 2 Years - I bought this after hearing about the good damping properties of carbon, taking the sting out of long rides. Seeing i was riding a racey alloy hardtail frameset I thought it would be most welcome - it lived up to the hype and I found that coupled with a well fitting saddle, it worked to improve the comfort of the bike.

Obviously a seatpost alone couldn't work miracles and a full on race frame is always going to be a stiff ride. It did however take the sting out of the bumps on large rides and coupled along with the weight saved over my old post I found it a great compliment to the build on my bike. Plus it looks good which is always a bonus.
