dhb might not be a company you have heard of but they continue to make no-nonsense, quality, value kit. The new dhb Compton baselayer is no different.

For 2008 they have a new super comfort fit version that features the award winning Nanobon fabric (carbonised bamboo fibres... ooo!?!). I have to say hyping material never does much for me, but I must say its a comfortable garment. The material is sweat wicking, and its very good at it too, and so far the garment is working well from regular use and washing. The Compton base layer is available in a round neck and zip neck option, personally I prefer round neck to wear under a jersey in the winter - summer time I normally don't wear a base layer.

A super comfortable and good looking garment for a fantastic price. If you fancy a slightly more upmarket base layer also check out dhb's Earnley Ciba fabric seamless base layers (around £30 in L/S and S/S options)
