Shimano Deore XT Crankset
 

The XT Hollowtech II Crankset features 4arm Splined OctaLink Mount cranks. 165/170/175 and 180mm cranks are available.

The Weight of cranks including bottom bracket is only 860 grams making this one of the lightest yet toughest cranksets on the market. The XT crankset is one of the most popular cranksets on the market, used by XC racers through to 4X and DH racers, its just shows the strength but lack of weight that makes this a great alrounder.

Chain rings are lightweight aluminium, pinned for extra strength, but XT chainrings aren't renowned for being the longest lasting, they are quite a soft alloy - that is simply the only slight downsider on these cranks, but if you can live with the worst case possibility of a change of chainrings once a year if you do a super high amount of mileage then you really cant complain, these are THE cranks to go for.
