Fox forx are world class and are a very popular fork around at the moment. The travel adjustment is an internal affair, so heres some simple guides to altering it yourself... METHOD 1. Place the bike into a workstand and firstly remove the front wheel. Undo the 10mm nut on the bottom of the left-hand leg. 2. Remove the nut and with it should come a small black crush washer. If not prise it off with a small screwdriver. Then replace the nut halfway along the exposed thread. 3. Empty the air from the fork but at the same time hold a container under the dropout, as very occasionally air can build up and blow oil out of the bottom when the positive air is released. 4. Place the 10mm socket back on the nut and tap it inside the fork leg. Around about 30cc of fork oil should squirt out of the bottom. 5. Remove the blue top cap (left hand leg) with a 26mm socket or spanner. 6. Push the plunger up through the fork from the bottom of the leg, as it nears the top you will see a blue coloured liquid; this is Float Fluid, simply mop it up with a rag. 7. Remove the plunger with the negative spring assembly. Underneath the coil spring is a black 20mm long plastic spacer (shaped like an hour glass). Remove this to increase trvel to 100mm. (If there's not a spacer but a collar instead then you have an odd set of Fox Forx™ and you will need to send them off to Mojo. They will move the collar to the 100mm position for free and then send it back to you) 8. Grease the seal on the top of the plunger (to stop the seal from tearing on the threads at the top of the stanchion and then refit it into the lower) 9. You may need to guide the bottom of the plunger into the position with a long Allen key or a similar long object. 10. using a syringe or measuring jug fill the lower leg (through the bottom of the fork) with 30cc of Fox Fork oil. Tilt the fork if necessary. 11. Replace the crush washer (and torque the 10mm bolt to 4lb/ft). Pour 5cc of blue Float Fluid into the top of the fork (enough to cover the top of the air piston). Replace the top cap (torque up to 13lb/ft) and then pump up the fork. 12. Go ride!
