Ok so not a mountain bike event as such, but still a good riding event to feature here...

The Mix69 Tour De Vale bike event has been running for years and years raising money in aid of WheelPower (British Wheelchair Sport).

Sponsors this year include Mix96, CTC, ADVC, Bucks County Council and Cycle Aylesbury.

This event is a sponsored charity bike ride, following signed routes all round the Vale of Aylesbury. There are 15 and 30mile family routes and a challenging 50mile route. Marshals and mechanics are on hand for the event, and there are refreshments and a barbeque too. Along with all this there is also a 15mile business challenge and a 55mile personal challenge too.

The 15mile business challenge means you can register a company team to take part in this 15mile business vs business challenge! The winning team will receive the Challenge Cup and a fantastic prize.

The event is running on Sunday 8th June

There is an entry fee to cover the costs of the organising the event, however this is a sponsored ride, so hopefully you can collect sponsorship money for the event too.

Entry fees are as follows:

Adults : £10
Under16 : £5
Family* : £20 (*2 adults and up to 3 children)
Entry on the day : £20

This is a great event to do for both the ride and for raising money for charity.
